Brooklyn Neighborhood Façade Program
The Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC) acting on behalf of the City of Waterbury and Main Street Waterbury are pleased to announce the 2011 Brooklyn Neighborhood Façade Program funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Program.
The Façade Program is designed to encourage exterior building improvements that address the appearance and condition of commercial, retail and mixed used buildings in our the Brooklyn neighborhood. The program also aims to promote economic prosperity while preserving our neighborhood’s unique character and historic roots. Grant funds are available in the form of forgivable no-interest loans for up to $30,000 per façade.
